Artemis

It had hardly been two weeks since she ran away, she was tired hungry and on top of it all she was wet. Being a mutant was harder then she had expected. She tried to pull one wing over her head to create a provisional umbrella "I guess I'll find a bench in the park again" she muttered to herself. It was hard for a homeless mutant to find roof over her head or even to find a groceries store that would not throw her out the second they sew her face,or rather her wings. Her wings, those stupid things had made her outcast in just a couple of weeks and the worst part was that she couldn't even master the ability to fly. What was she to do ? Her super hero plans certainly diddn't work out, well not that accually had a specific plan on how to become one, she could crawl back home, she knew, but that would be admitting she was wrong, that she could not handle her own life. She sat on her bench looking up at the clouded sky "No, I will learn to fly" she said out loud
