This whole doll hobby is killing me, I want to get them all and lately I have been killed economically by a doll company called Soom, or as we say in the hobby; I have been Soomed
In October last year I got my first Soom doll, a Fairy Legend Asis, she got turned into my character Tix
Then in April, I broke my rule of making all my characters D&D characters and put down a payment for their limited Puss in Boots, he'll actually arrive today or tomorrow, I am psyched
Then in May I fell in love with another of their dolls, a Roxen that will be another none D&D original character
So I hoped I was done with purchasing Soom doll or any dolls for that matter for a while when I found a rather cheap fantasy Cuprit doll on the marketplace that I bought, she'll be a character that I already had planned to get a doll for and she's a limited. I'll pick her up the coming weekend when I go to a doll-meeting in Oslo, yay doll-meeting !
I still have to purchase a body for her because she came only with the hoofed fantasy body and not normal feet that her character should have.
Then there's the new limited monthly doll...sigh....He is (if loosely) based on the Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, he have two heads and changeable bunny parts, I love everything about him and on top of that the optional clothing he comes with is tailcoats and a top-hat, then there's the awesome bunny feet and last the awesome smirking face, I can't keep my brain from making him a story and fitting him into my doll universe, I have pretty much done everything but named him. I really shouldn't get this guy, but if I know myself I'll probably get him anyway, he's available till the 18th, so I'll see how I feel closer to the end period and see how I like the body of my Puss in Boots.
To be honest, I always wanted to get dolls from a lot of different companies, but Soom just keep pumping out so many fun colourful dolls and it doesn't exactly help that they are all limited edition.
